Daksh Netralaya was conceptualized to address the growing demand of quality and specialized eye care in Jabalpur and Mahakoshal region at an affordable cost to ensure that the entire spectrum of eye diseases could be treated at one place itself. Apart from addressing general ophthalmology services like refractive errors and cataract, Daksh Netralaya is a superspeciality center for corneal transplant and retinal surgery. The center takes pride in stating that it is the only private center performing all types of corneal transplants a.k.a keratoplasties in this region. Daksh is affiliated to Ramayamma International Eye Bank at LV Prasad Eye Institute for supply of donor corneas which are transplanted to patients of this region. The doctors at Daksh Netralaya are trained from the best eye institutes in the country including LV Prasad Eye Institute, Sankara Eye Hospital and Aravind Eye Care System which ensures high quality for its patients.

Recognizing the unmet need of eye care in suburban areas and rural Mahakoshal region, two additional vision centers were established to cater to patients in these areas. A daily OPD is functional in Ghamapur-Kanchghar region of Jabalpur city and a bi-monthly OPD has been started at Umaria District. Daksh Eye Clinic at Umaria is the only eye care facility in that region.

The center also provides charitable services and we are affiliated to the District Blindness Control Society and routinely perform free cataract surgeries for needy patients.
